Out there at the weekend.
Chances of finding a Sports bar with moody channels showing the 3pm kick offs anyone know??

Definately. I was out there a month ago and there were flyers up leading you to sports bars. They had the West Ham game on when I was out there.

It's Liverpool QPR on Fox Sports Italia.
Why would you waste a weekend in Venice watching the durge on offer in the Premier League? Have a coffee and an ice - cream sitting outside somewhere instead.

Why on earth you would go to a lovely city and spend your time watching the current dross we serve up.
I did this in Amsterdam for Swansea away a few years ago and regretted it.
Enjoy the city.

Lovely city but pretty tame at night, even in the university area the bars were shutting at midnight.

I was there last year and found an Irish bar to watch the football. It's difficult to miss on your way into the mixer. Small gaff but has a few TV's

About 80% of the "locals" are foreigners

I must agree with the majority. Hence, I never bothered to watch our game whilst out there. Then again, I was just with the Mrs and it would've been a bit unfair on her seeing as she treated me to the trip for my birthday.
If I was with a pal and his Mrs though I may invent a reason to slip off and watch it.

Don't bother buying the boat equivalent to Oyster card. You can walk all around venice in less than a day. Don't eat out near marks square its a rip off, walk back towards the main bridge to island, cannergio area, much more laid back, better food and more reasonable. There is a small bar behind the hotel Tintoretto, loads of decent beers on tap.. Chimey blue :) only place I can remember having footy on was the Irish pub in the same area. Shopping? Hope you got deep pockets, great clothes. Can't wait to go back again tbh, we went in November. Loads of chinks and japs get under your feet around marks square and nearby narrow streets. Other than that, definitely recommend it for a short break.

Fuck watching the current side when you're on holiday. I've just got back, had the chance to watch us against QPR, fucked it off, didn't look at this site once, and felt a lot fucking better for it.
West Ham are fucking depressing at the minute, enjoy your holiday.
